Volkswagen’s 1Q Profit Rose

Volkswagen is presently the world’s fourth largest automaker and it seems like things are getting brighter for the car company. Autonews.com reports that Volkswagen has experienced a 19 percent rise in its first quarter operating profit for its core VW brand. It translates to some 461 million euros, to be more accurate.
Another VW brand that showed a robust growth was Czech unit Skoda whose operating profit rose by 5.8 percent to 182 million euros. As expected, people at Volkswagen are happy with the results and they expect higher overall vehicle profit all throughout the year.
